Desk to go with Billy bookcases?

We're turning a spare room into a library/study and have ordered Billy bookcases in walnut veneer to cover 2 walls. We painted the walls a lovely deep green colour. The problem now is getting a desk to match. Ikea only seem to sell walnut desks in the Mittzon range but those have no drawers and we'd need the storage. The Alex units would be ideal but they would be white - would that look weird? Should we try other shops for a desk and just get as close a colour as we can? I'm sure it will be near impossible to get the colour the same.
Does anyone have experience of walnut Billy bookcases with a different colour desk?

You can buy standalone sets of drawers to go underneath the desks which don’t already have them. I’d get the desk you like and add sets of drawers on both sides. Good luck
