I popped into Next home from rna few bits yesterday and ended walking out with nothing. I was shocked at the prices if I'm being honest and wondering if theres a good quality cheaper alternative.

I’m addicted to Dunelm but it’s maybe not for everyone. I’ve always found Next over priced. Habitat are now selling via Argos and have some
loveky affordable pieces too. I can only really shop online as I live so far from civilisation! Just bought some garden furniture from John Lewis too in the sale.

I buy most things for my house from vintage markets, junk shops, charity shops and car boot sales.

The Range is inexpensive so I get a lot from there.
Asda/Primark/H&M Home all have the odd good thing in too.

Another vote for vintage. Much of our stuff was found on eBay or at antique/fleamarkets/auctions via The Saleroom. A lot of our soft furnishings I make myself using designer fabrics sourced online.

Occasionally in the past we picked up a few items in Homesense, but they've not been so good since the pandemic imo.

Also a fan of Dunelm, but I have quite a cottagey style that their range leans into well.

Charity shops are great for homewares which I know can be hit and miss but things like nice vases, wall decor, photo frames plant pots etc are all easy to come by for a couple of pounds.

My new favourite is Søstrene Grene, well worth a trip if there is one near you. My nearest store is about an hour away but I could spend all day in there. Very affordable and nice unique pieces.
