I HATE DUVETS

I'm sick of pretending they have a place in modern society and I don't care about any preferences for duvets. I hate them and I'm not sorry and I'm not changing my mind.

I'm hot and sweaty doing gymnastics just to have a wrinkly, lumpy bed that's the bare minimum: clean.

That said, is there anyone who can point me to lightweight bedspreads? I prefer 100% cotton (lining excluded) but will look at anything.

I’m the same as you OP - I have grown to hate my duvet. All summer I have just had the duvet cover and it has been bliss. I have decided when it comes to autumn/winter I am going bed sheets and bed spreads

It is worth looking at wool duvets as these are flat and don’t clump and lump. They look and feel smooth.
They are cool in summer and warm in winter. Changed me life finding them.
