Paint colour aficionado/as, help! (Craig & Rose Shagreen)

My bathroom is painted in Craig & Rose Shagreen and urgently needs a touch-up. To my horror, I find online that the colour has been discontinued. 😫
Does anyone know of a similar colour by another brand that I could repaint with? I am v upset as it was my perfect neutral.

If you can get a sample you can have it colourmatched at the shop.

I'm entirely out of the paint and it doesn't exist any more so I can't buy more. Would scraping some off my wall work to colour match, I wonder?

It should. They just need a sample to put in their system. I've taken them a kitchen cabinet door before, and the match was pretty much perfect.

ChatGPT says Sherwin williams has a similar shagreen. I don't know it, but maybe try a tester?

If you just take the name to a decorators merchant they might well be able to look up the code and give you an exactly matched paint. Worth ringing them up and asking anyway. Brewer's is a big chain.

Some great advice! Thanks, folks.

The Sherwin Williams Shagreen looks really different from my colour - much paler and much greener; mine is a muted, neutral, clay sort of colour with a vague olive tint.

I think I'll have to try calling Brewer's or similar and see if they are able to produce the colour from the code. Otherwise, I'll scrape a massive sliver of paint off the wall and go with the paint match option!
