Moving house soon and need to purchase new appliances. We need the works; integrated fridge, integrated freezer (going for separate full length for both) washer, dryer, cordless vac, hob, oven, integrated extractor fan

Which brands would you recommend?

Any particular brands to avoid?

Thanks in advance!

We have Miele for most of our household goods. It is very expensive BUT they last a long time. Washing machine 15 yrs, dishwasher 20 years, oven 10 years.

The only item we have had a problem with is the induction hob - died after only 3 months but they replaced it straight away and 9 years later is still going strong.

We got a fancy hoover washing machine when ours died. It’s terrible we have had the engineer out twice. The belt keeps falling off.

i love my Dyson cordless vacs I have 3. I also have a repair man locally who services them. If you don’t like Dyson I recommend Halo as all my colleagues love theirs. We also have a corded shark and I hate it. It’s utter junk with a gross filter you have to clean every 5 minutes. I put my Dyson filters in the washing machine!I love my stoves oven. Not cheap but so good.

Miele for hob, dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer. Siemens for ovens (one steam, one not). Fisher Paykel for fridge freezer. Beko for chest freezer in the garage for dead bodies dog food and bulky stuff.

Last house came with AEG stuff when we first moved in and wasn’t massively impressed - oven seals leaked when it was only a few years old and the integrated washer died not long after.
