Opinions on our new shutters...

We've just had cafe style shutters installed in the living room. Does it look silly having 3 panels on this window?? Me and DH can't decide if we are happy with them or not! The image is taken from the outside of our house.

Thanks everyone. We actually asked for 4 panels but the company ordered and installed 3 and we didn't notice until they had finished. Just trying to decide if we want to push for them to redo it or if we just leave it as it is.

I think Two would have been better and to follow the vertical line of the glass.
What do they look like inside?
Can anything be done about it now anyway?

How are they hinged, are a pair of them bifold or is there a separate frame which allows them to be opened separately (can't see one)?
Had bifold in the past but now have separate frames, far better IMO.

@Nourishinghandcream 2 are bifold and the other one opens on its own.
We have already complained by email so will see what the company says. But I just can't believe the person who came to measure the window and the fitter never said anything about there being three panels. Surely one of them would have realised it wasn't right.

Yes it needs to be two or four, three is a very odd thing to have.

It looks very odd having three, two would be best but four would also work fine.

But if they gave you a big discount I'd be tempted to keep them.
