Would like to have more old / period furniture but lacking in cash. Would renovating items like chair, table, other things, be possible with no previous experience or skills?

I’ve got loads of old furniture. Some is antique and some just old. None of it has cost much some has been free. Ive a few old pine pieces and they could do with a bit of wax. One hasn’t been waxed at all and really needs it. The mahogany stuff could do with polishing and I probably need to inspect for wood work again

Try furniture auctions online or local ebay collection only. You should be able to pick up some bargains. I have resprayed and reuphosltered some chairs which wasn't too hard but they were the sort with just seat pads.
I think some colleges do evening courses in stuff like furniture restoration.
