Newly painted and young children

Have newly painted a number of rooms and they are fast becoming marked due to young children. How easy is it to touch up small areas please? Would really appreciate some advice. (Would also appreciate kind comments - realise we could have waited until our children were older to paint! 😂🫣) Thanks!

When we had young children, we were always rolling areas along the walls where little fingers met. We kept it simple, we decorated with trade magnolia emulsion and kept a large quantity in the garage. The rolling worked, the areas blended in.

Very easy, we regularly touch up paintwork in areas which are touched a lot, plus around light switches or any marks from moving boxes etc.

Get yourself a magic sponge / eraser and accept that to keep it looking fresh you’ll need to touch up occasionally. I spent about 5 years cleaning and moaning about the marked walls on our stairs & landing thinking we’d have to spend £££ getting in decorators then realised it didn’t need an entire room redecoration to look vastly improved - quick roll over the lower parts of the wall and it’s good as new.
