How should I hang this mirror please

I don’t know how to hang this - should I leave it touching the fireplace or not?

You can find mirror hanging hooks in any hardware store/ diy store. You will need masonry drill bits to drill the hole through the brick.
Very unlikely to have any damage if you leave it touching the fireplace. But best to leave some space in between.

Thanks, it’s more the look of it I meant. Would it look better as it or raise it up so it’s higher. I can’t tell!

I've seen both, but more often resting on the fireplace, especially when it's close in colour.
However, in your space, the advantage to raising it is not having so much blank surface between the shelves. The shelves are lively and varied to look at and then there's that space - it would flow better, imo, if the mirror took up more of the surface between the shelves.

Agree with the post above. Raised may look a bit more proportional to the room as there won’t be so much wall space above de mirror!

I have that mirror. Hang it. That way you can use the mantle too

Make sure you line the bottom with a shelf or it will annoy you for ever. Or it would me anyway!
