Which should I go for?
What have you slept in and would recommend?

I’ve slept in some really uncomfortable guest beds, so I’m super mindful that I want to provide a sleeping solution for visitors that allows a restful sleep and ultimately they’ll want to return.

And of course, I’d like to avoid spending a huge amount if I can.

I bought this combo from IKEA, really very comfy and I’ve slept on it quite a few times myself. Annoyingly topper isn’t quite the same size as the bed, maybe we got a shrunk one! For double comfort we add a goose down topper from John Lewis, although this extra topper isn’t absolutely needed. The basic topper however is a necessity (especially if you’re over 12 stone, I’ve gone down through weight ranges whilst sleeping on it) for a good comfy sleep (although it does need a separate storage spot as you can’t fold the sofa back up easily with the topper on). But otherwise it’s very easy to pull out and put back. I also got an under bed storage bag and that fits a light double duvet, two pillows and sheets all under the bed in sofa form, neatly hidden away.
