Is frenchic paint good to paint over a vinyl wrap kitchen? Can't be bothered with the hassle of removing the vinyl!

No, you need specialist kitchen & bathroom paint designed for painting vinyl and an adhesive primer first, as vinyl is a smooth surface that doesn't take paint well, You must also gently sand it all back first to create a rough textured surface to ensure the primer and paint adhere properly. Even then you may not get a perfect result but fair more likely that not doing all the prep and using the wrong paint type..

Frenchic is just chalk paint and only suitable for wooden furniture. It often needs a least 2 coats if not more to get the right finish and depth of colour. It will peel and chip easily and fade on nearly all other surface, and as its a matt finish can't be cleaned properly without leaving marks. Which in a kitchen, with the cooking grease in the air and food splatters means it won't last long at all.

There used to be a whole Facebook group for complaining about how Frenchic was promoting it for other uses and how disappointed people were with the results, especially after a bit of time had passed. People who complained were always told it was their fault for not having prepped or painted properly, and not due to the unsuitability of the paint.
