Single Chair/Sofa Bed for child's room

Looking for a sofabed/chair for child's bedroom, to use for occasional sleepovers and bedtime stories.

Day beds/trundle beds are not appropriate, nor are bunkbeds.

Has anyone here got one or used one? Or any alternative recommendations?

The space is 96cm wide.

Just back from IKEA and saw someone pulling out the Kivik 1-seater sofa bed - looked really clever and comfy! It is more expensive but have a look at the video on their website to see how it works.

Well it would fit the space so that's a start! Looks easy to set up too.

Didn't even think to look at IKEA 🤦‍♀️😂

there are a lot of cheaper dupes for this type of thing. All the same, Ikea and habitat at the more expensive end.

i must say once unfolded they are quite narrow and not hugely comfortable, but if only for one night they suffice.

Funny how I just saw it being pulled out by a customer and said “ooh that’s clever!” If you get it my trip on an oven of a bus will have been worth it. No pressure 😂

The habitat one is the same sized sleeping area as a single bed 🤔

We're not looking at compact versions.

Sorry by narrow I means the “mattress” is very thin and not comfortable. It’s fine for sleepovers and occasional nights though.

Ahh ok I see. That's all it will be used for. I guess maybe a mattress topper would help soften it.

Do you know any other brands of chair bed we can look at?
