Bad paint job

A decorator has done a bad paint job in my bathroom. I contacted him and he says he'll rectify it if I pay his petrol, parking charges and congestion charges.

What would you do?

How bad?
How big is the bathroom/area to be rectified?
How much did you pay?
How much would parking/petrol/cc cost you?
Do you trust him to put it right?

It looks awful in places, it's very noticeable.
Its a different colour around a light and under the ceiling.
I'm not entirely sure how much it would cost to pay all charges/petrol. Around £100?
I'm not sure if I trust him but there's little I can do.

We had words and he said next time he's around my way he'll do it free of charge. I'm wondering if I should just do it myself.

If it’s next time he’s ’round your way’ surely petrol and congestion charges would already be being paid? So on that basis I’d offer just to pay his parking.

having said that, presumably you have already paid him for the job? I’d be saying that I’d be withholding the amount it would cost to get fixed by someone else, but it sounds like it’s too late for that?

He's already been paid and I'm not prepared to pay for anything. He said he'd redo it and I wouldn't be charged. I'd say the touch up is probably half an hour's work at most.
