Hello ladies,

My first post as I am in the throes of it all and found the most helpful advise on this board as a family oriented platform. Full home renovation project on-going. I have a tiny cloakroom bathroom that I will have a wet room shower, and in my arty endeavour ended up buying a set of Flamingos in the Everglades By Becki Thomas Tile. I was quite keen to have a subtle patterned tile to combine with it. What colours would you suggest would go with it? White, sand, grey, beige tiles. This is 36X24 inches

Personally I don’t think the lighter coloured neutrals or the texture go at all with the panel.

I would pick one of the greens, find a plain tile in that in a similar texture to the decorative.

Go for it, or don’t use the decorative ones.

I too say no of the greys/textured. Pick a base colour from the tiles. What are your taps/shower going to be like? Chrome? Black? Bronze? Shape of sink /toilet etc build yourself a mood board. . Pinterest will probably be your friend.

No clue what goes best but bloody love those flamingos!! 🦩 😍

None of those greys. You need something that picks out one of the colours from the flamingo tiles, probably a green.

I like the wavy patterned but the grey is killing it. Back to drawing board. Choose a plain tile that has a colour that matches the tile panel. I would go for the royal bluish tone as there’s already too much green. A pale cream would work too.
(love the panel by the way!)

Cloakroom is definitely a place where you can go wild with colour. I would probably pick the green colour from the mural and use the blue and orange pink as the pops of colour.

None of the ones with textures you show are right at all. I like the matt sage green tiles that a pp suggests.

You need to pick a warm colour that tones in with one element of the flamingo tiles, like a shade of green or the salmon pink of their legs. Maybe even a deep forest green.
