Bedroom wallpaper mistake

This is the wallpaper I have recently hung in my bedroom. It’s bright white, I should be asked for a sample as I prefer off white and the rest of my house is going to be off white but it’s too late now. I will be pairing the wallpaper with dark green curtains, all my other curtains are green.
My problem is the room feels very bright I was aiming for a calming space to wind down in. When winter comes I think it will feel very cold.
maybe there is something I can do decoration or lighting wise, a certain kind of picture or light bulb shade so that it doesn’t feel so bright when it’s time to go to bed?
I don’t trust myself to do anything more to it without advice

Agreed it doesn't look bright white, and it is beautiful. I see why you chose it.
The green curtains will help a lot, and you should get muted colour lampshades and dimmer bulbs. In the winter you might just be OK with the bright white.

I think it’s because there’s a shadow. In reality it’s bright white

I said what I did because I thought you might have chosen it because it looked off-white on a screen, as it does here.

I did understand that it's bright white. That's why I offered the suggestions I shared above.
Best wishes for getting reponses you find more helpful.

Using warm white bulbs will help

I agree with @ShrubRose about muted lampshades and dimmer bulbs. I would use a smaller/ simple ceiling lights and rather add floor/ table lamps, also a bedspread/ bedding in muted calming colours if it’s so important for you.

I put wallpaper in my large dining room, u hated it. Lived with it for three months and still couldn’t learn to like it. Eventually had it taken down and put it down as an expensive mistake!

I have just finished papering the walls, apart from the wall behind the bed. I realised the room feels a bit claustrophobic now with this wallpaper. I’m not sure whether to do a different wallpaper on the wall behind the bed, paint it or paper all the walls the same?
