AI to plan flat layout

Can anyone recommend an app that could suggest different ways to plan the layout of an apartment. We are looking to buy something and have seen one that has some odd spaces. Just want a few ideas before committing to buying/ asking g for professional help. There are some awkward supporting walls which we would want to plan around.
many tips appreciated!

Ask ChatGPT if there are any apps like this available.

Just ask chatgpt

To do it I mean… rather than suggest an app.

There is an account called PlanAttack on instagram (Matthew north) who does this. A real human is much better than an AI.

If you’ve got the floor plan from the advert then I’d think ChatGPT would be able to reconfigure based on your requirements. There may be a better AI for it and I don’t know that it would necessarily be helpful around loading walls so it might knock something down that in reality might be a bit of a ball ache / super expensive to do in real life.

So the floor plan doesn’t have the dimensions. But we do have the length of one wall and the area of each room.
i tried ChatGPT with this and either it says it’s processing thé image or it’s showing random rectangles joined togetger with no semblance to the floor plan.

Thé “real” guy on instagram looks interesting but even that is too much money at this point - plus he asks for a floor plan with measurements.

I have the paid version of ChatGPT which seems a bit better at image creation than the free version. There are quite a few different AIs at Open AI so there may be one which is more suitable. There is also Mistral which I have used a little bit but haven’t tried images on that.

The thing is that as ai uses existing images you won't necessary get the 'best' layout as it will be drawing from a pool that includes everything including odd/bad layouts surely? Might give you ideas but that's it. The ai also won't make allowances for load baring walls, efficiencies with builds etc.

I'm speaking as a designer. Yes ai is good at giving you ideas/visuals but if you want something practical you need a scale drawing.

If you have one wall length then you can draw a diagram to scale. Make a grid on lines or square paper with one square being a metre.

Or why not post it on here? I've seen lots of really clever suggestions for renovations from mumnetters.
