Looking for cheap driveway ideas

I have a double driveway. Half is made up of these concrete slabs, and the other half is made up of decorative stones/shale. It's overgrown with weeds and generally doesn't look very appealing.

I've deweeded but now I'm looking for cheap ideas to improve it's look that doesn't involve building a completely new driveway. Any ideas?

If you haven’t much money I would jetwash and fill the cracks with a concrete mix. It costs £1000s to do a driveway.
You could fence a bit off at the front and grow some plants in the gravel area. Add large pots and hanging baskets to add some interest.
