Carpet help please! Cheap but durable?

I’m moving into a house with no carpets and looking for something budget but that will last at least 5 years (hopefully more!) without going flat.
I had some lovely carpet fitted only last year from Tapi, but can’t take it with me and can’t afford the same again.

I don’t really understand the details other than pile height so I’m not sure if either of these would be good. Preferably the second one.

Not the thickest, but with a thick underlay could it work? https://www.onlinecarpets.co.uk/products/cream-grey-polaris-luxury-saxony-carpet]]" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://www.onlinecarpets.co.uk/products/cream-grey-polaris-luxury-saxony-carpet]]]]

Hopeful Thanks in advance!
(I do have samples of both, and the colour and feel is right, just not sure of durability)

I use online carpets in the bedrooms and they are lovely, paid £15 sq foot.

Ah brilliant, thank you ☺️
They do seem to have good reviews, so that’s reassuring!

Have you tried the remnents at this place? You might be able to get a cheap carpet which is better quality.

I bought remnants here last year and was really pleased with the carpet and the service

I was just about to suggest this! We’ve used them a number of times. And then just booked a local fitter. It’s normally 70% discounted. Their underlays are good also
