My partner was sold by our builder ‘move the stuff out of the bathroom, it looks messy’ . I was on the edge about this, but thought it may not be too bad if they were in the corner which is where they were in bathroom. Now found they have stuck them in the middle!! What do I do?! 😩 I’ve got to get it moved haven’t I..

That looks awful, you can't avoid seeing it. I'd have it moved

Quite normal to have them outside the bathroom and over the door, the issue here is that they are surface mounted and not been recessed into the wall.
Get him to do that and they will not be anything like as noticeable, at the moment it looks like a DIY job.

I would want them to the side and also recessed in.

I couldn't live with that. They need moving to the side and recessed in, rather than surface mounted as currently. They look awful as they are.
