Does anyone know of anywhere that does discounted paint or cheaper than average paint? Anywhere in the country is fine as there are lots of places that do price matching.

I'm looking for Tikkurila in particular.

No, but if you are desperate for paint and don't have much money, ask on Freecycle.

Lots of people keep old half used paint pots in their garage or shed and they may be happy to offload them if you aren't bothered on colour (or you want white).

If you want the make then I don't know where one would buy cheapest. I've never heard of that make myself.

My son bought some Valspar on a deal last weekend than ran out on Bank Holiday Monday at B and Q but they will probably have replaced it with another offer the day after.

Thanks. I'm just looking to get the price below £200 for the paint I want.

I've never heard of it - where is it sold? Builders Merchants?

If the paint you want is available at Brewers Decorators, it is worth opening an account (it's not like a credit account, just create a client profile) in case they still offer 20% of your first order. Go and ask in a shop first, and get a sample pot if possible. Better than doing it yourself online.

And have a look on eBay as well, I've sold lots of expensive paint over the years when I ordered the wrong colour or only used a little bit of paint from a larger tin.

Lots of places both large and small paint stores.

Hopefully you'll get the 20.percent

If not I was offered a 10 percent off promo code by their own website when I just googled to find out more about them.

The brand I'm looking for isn't on their site which is a drag.

Why do you want it- is it a specific colour or finish that you want? Brewers will colour match.

myplace · 09/05/2025 17:29

Ah ok, I’ve googled. Sustainability?

It's a great paint.

That's one of the reasons. I'm just looking to get the paint I want a bit cheaper as I can get it price matched.

I asked because I’ve just bought paint, asked a load of recommendations, and hadn’t heard of that one so wondered what the draw was. Given Brewers do the colour.

They are eco friendly and sustainable, have low volatile organic compounds (VOC), are breathable, scrubbable and have excellent opacity and finish.
