New build, need to choose some flooring for hall, kitchen, downstairs office, and toilet. Units are like grey. Looking at LVT over tiling. Ideas and room visualising ideas welcome.

thanks in advance 😀

I would go with LVT. We have amtico on the ground floor of our house in the shade Nordic oak, it looks great. Doesn't damage easy with having two young children and is easy to keep clean 😊

I have wood effect LV planks everywhere in my house apart from on the stairs.
It flows throughout the whole downstairs and I really like it, looks good and easy to clean

I too have LVT, but grey slate effect large tiles. In the bedroom and living room we have carpet - but everywhere else LVT. I love it, easy to clean doesn't show marks and not cold underfoot. No stairs as we live in bungalow. Definitely recommend it

Thank you. I’m rubbish at interior design 😕

This is my flooring. I think the 1st option you have sent is a bit too much like the kitchen units, all seems to blend into one IMO. Its so hard to visualise isnt it. Years ago I had a carpet laid in a bedroom and I was so convinced it wasnt the colour I had chosen I went back to the shop to look at the sample - it was the colour I had picked but looked so entirely different when it was down

That looks really good - I like that!
I know it’s so hard - sick of it already 😂

Maybe a slightly warmer wood, similar to this one?

I regret having lvt in my kitchen. It’s pretty scratched in places and if I wanted to move I think I’d have to replace it to sell.
Karndean flooring elsewhere looks really good.
