Which colour for north facing kitchen ceiling please?

I’ve started painting our kitchen dark green-the cupboards are cream / I think it’s F&B old white.

should I paint the ceiling cream to match the cupboards or pure brilliant white? The room is quite cold & from what I gather PBW is a no no on walls but I’m not sure what’s best for the ceiling. Many thanks 😁

I don’t know, but wanted to say your kitchen looks so nice! That green goes so well with the cupboards.

(If it was me, I’d probably do pure brilliant white as there’s usually some spare kicking around and it’s not hard to paint over later)

I have F&B off white walls (I think this is one shade lighter than old white) and green smoke woodwork in one of my rooms. Ceiling is wimborne white - goes perfectly as its just a shade softer than pure white.

Thanks both - I think now the cupboards are either house white or new white-can’t remember which. Wimborne might work well on the ceilings as it’s a touch warmer without being creamy!

We have Dulux timeless in our north facing kitchen. It's a warm white but not as yellow as cream
The farrow and ball red toned white might be worth trying too? I think it's called dimity?

Cheers - have gone for the Wimborne white as just want the place painted & to get back to the garden.

I really only started painting as the kitchen really needed a deep clean & this is the only way it was going to get done within the next couple of months! Thankfully himself has taken over the painting now & I'm off to choir 😁. Will update when it’s done but decent progress is being made!
