Vintage kitchen inspiration please

Hello can anyone inspire me ? I’m buying a house which has not had much done for years which we want to bring back to life by as much upcycling as we can ( we also don’t have much money ) In it has a daintymaid vintage kitchen . I would like to try and keep this but want the room to look stylish too . Has anyone seems a retro vintage kitchen in situ but looking quite cool . We have been looking for pictures to give us ideas but are not finding much

My friends have one of those – it’s blue and white, think they bought it on eBay. I don’t have a photo of it but I do like their chequerboard floor… this kitchen is wayyyyy nicer and a different colour but it’s a similar effect

Maybe this is a step too far, I'm not entirely sure of the corrct era, but if there is an Aga, place a small soot-covered child wielding a sweep's brush, next to it.

(The child can wear a wonky top hat for added effect.)

I think this is a nice balance of respecting the original features while feeling modern and fresh
