Striking curtains?

I am looking for some curtains with a bold pattern. Walls and furniture are neutral and I want to use the curtains for interest.

I've got an okay shortlist from John Lewis, Dunelm, Next etc but I haven't yet found anything that sings to me.

Anyone know any good places I might not have came across that do unusual curtains?

It is very much budget dependent. Don't forget texture as well as design and colour. Some fabric types are lustrous, some have a depth.

Is there a second hand curtain shop near you? They are usually a good source for striking curtains as they tend to have curtains that were originally very expensive, hand made to measure, designer fabrics, silk / velvet etc.

Thanks, will have a look and see.

In the meantime if anyone stumbles across this thread in future I'll add these places I've found after further searching...

Graham & Brown

Timorous Beasties

House of Hackney

Cole & Son

Still haven't found The Ones though 😁

Have you got an independent upholster / curtain shop near you. I recently did the rounds of John Lewis etc. and didn’t get much inspiration. I went to the local independent and they had literally thousands of samples and were able to interpret my “ I’ve got block colours in my lounge ( took some photos) and want something different”. They were also able to advise on material , how it would hang etc. so much better and I got something interesting and a statement to liven up my lounge. Also got matching cushions.

Have you looked into Nordic Knots? or Gotain?
