I have plasterboard walls in my hall which were initially painted. We then decorated over with wallpaper. I’m now a bit bored of the paper and would like to repaper them. Does anyone know if I scrape the wallpaper off, will it come off ok or am I going to make a mess of the plasterboard?
thanks

Is it Anaglypta? You could just peel the top layer off and repaper. Or, just paper over the top if flat wallpaper underneath ??

Were the walls plastered or were they literally just plasterboard? If the second then I would wallpaper over the old stuff.

You say the plasterboard walls were initially painted, then yes, you'll be fine as the paint seals the plasterboard.

Fine to peel off the wall paper, that is!
