What Dulux Colour for walls?

Hi there,
We are repainting our flat which has very high ceilings. We have chosen Pure Brilliant White for the ceilings and want to know what color to paint the walls? We like the idea of a white overall look so any ideas of what other 'white' tones in Dulux will match the ceiling in Pure Brilliant White ?

It's white, literally any other colour will go with it. I can't recommend I'm afraid as I'm not a fan of the all white look but why don't you just use the same paint on the walls as you are going to use on the ceiling if you want white?

Pure Brilliant White has a grey undertone. So you want to go for a deeper white which also has a grey undertone - just looking on the website I can see Quiet Hideaway, Chiffon White 1, Porcelain Doll. Start there and see what your eye likes.

My kitchen/ lounge/ Diner is Dulux “ Polished Pebble” and white
its a light grey which changes with the light

I just had another look at Pure Brilliant White. I think it might be a little bit more taupe than I realised.

In any case, what you want to do is figure out what undertone PBW has and find a deeper white in that undertone.

@uncomfortablydumb60 Polished Pebble is a lovely colour.

I’ve used White Cotton in some of the rooms in my house. Works well with PBW but is a bit softer. Chiffon White is also lovely.

We have a sunny bedroom in Jasmine white and it’s perfect for that small room.

Shale White

We have polished pebble in our hall. It's nice but very grey.
Dd has white cotton in her room and we are just about to have our kitchen redone in White Mist.

Get some testers and try them. They all look different in different lights!

If you are not restricted to Dulux and you are doing rooms with different aspects then look at Slaked Lime by Little Greene. It manages to be a soft, warm white in both North and South aspect rooms and its a proper durable paint quality (unlike F&B). If the high ceilings are due to the era of the house then you may also find it works better with other colours to fit the period of the house.
