Do you need to get building regulation approval/Planning Permission to do the following works in a flat in Chelsea - London:

  1. Moving a door in a bathroom to another wall by knocking out part of a solid wall to create the new door.
  2. Cutting a soil cast pipe - We are moving a toilet to a new wall which is closer to the soil cast pipe - so we need to cut a bit shorter the current soil cast pipe to connect to the new toilet wall which will be closer to the cast pipe - right now is father and the cast pipe is connected to a plastic pipe that reach farther where the toilet currently is placed.

Many thanks!

Yes, building regs and structural surveyor for the door relocation, they’ll calculate the size of the beam that’s will be going above the new door opening . You don’t need planning permission from the council.
You only need a good plumber for the soil pipe

You will also need freeholder permission.
