Green bedroom ideas

Hello All,

I was hoping for some inspiration.

We've a fairly large bedroom which I hoping to paint sage green and an off white ceiling. There are built in cupboards in cream along one wall. Two antique pine sets of drawers, a green shabby chic bureau, a wooden king size bed and a large window. The room is a slightly strange oblong shape and north facing. Weirdly where the walls and ceilings meet it is sloped rather than straight if you know what I mean.

We've had a real problem with mould in the corners despite airing the room every day - hence the redecoration. We are terrible for clutter (especially books) and I'm not looking to replace the furniture other than our useless bedside cabinets - ikea pine effect.

Any inspo from your own bedrooms or magazines are very welcome.

We've no design skill at all so feel free to be very specific.

Thanks in advance.

What inspo are you after? Fabric? Carpet? Rugs? Are you having new bedlinen?

My bedroom is Tranquil Dawn and it goes really well with navy blue and grey.

I have white paintwork, including white fitted cupboards. Grey curtains (soon to be white shutters), grey bed linen with a navy bedspread and grey carpet. I have black accents. That's all the furniture I have though.

Regarding mould, I suggest a dehumidifier and clean the mould with bleach and water. Paint over with an anti mould treatment.

Apologies @MissyGirlie for my vague post. 😱

I've got some green bedlinen but curtains/carpets/rugs/shades in paint, bedside cabinet and perhaps wallpaper ideas, if I can convince my husband, would be welcome.

No worries!

I'd get a rug, linen, curtains and bedding that share a lot of common colours and all have some of the sage green and cream or off-white in them.

Navy and terracotta both work well with sage green - in my opinion anyway!

We had a sage green living room years ago. The rug was sage green, dark blue, terracotta, cream and a dark sludgy yellow. The curtains and sofa picked up the blue in the rug, and the lampshade was a darker green. I can't remember what color the carpet was, but the overall effect was pretty good.
