What carpet colour to go with F&B Dead Salmon?

The room is a south facing living room, small but tall ceiling with plenty of light due to dual aspect windows.

The sofa is an oatmeal weave, with a navy velvet chair and navy and oak coffee table. These are fairly new so don’t really want to replace them.

Would love some recommendations for a carpet colour. Thank you.

The room sounds gorgeous! A really luxurious twist pile in a very pale cream could look great – but not practical for most people of course.

Something like this maybe?

A deep teal would look wonderful. Some lovely shades of teal in this rug rugette.co.uk/products/darielle-teal-boho-rug?variant=49411854467353

Thank you both, I hadn’t considered either a bold colour or something with a fleck so they’re both something to think about!

I like the fleck option, otherwise you risk introducing another colour into the room. Either go neutral or a print to tie in the oatmeal and navy. Maybe a herringbone jute?
