Office has off white walls, colourful art prints - but what curtains?

Grey carpet and grey roller blind. Would like curtains though to finish it off. Struggling to pic a colour as the pics do have a bit of everything. I had thought of a pattern but then it just looks a bit mad with everything else. Anyone done anything similar? Would thought this would be relatively common issue as gallery walls are popular but according to google it’s not haha

If you wanted to be on the safe side, you could do a neutral like cream or brown, with a lovely texture eg. linen, chenille, that kind of thing. H&M Home, Zara home, Dunelm etc have lots.

However I LOVE the look of bronze or terracotta curtains with grey floors and white walls - I stayed in a hotel room with this combination in Stockholm (though the floors were a kind of grey wood, rather than carpet) and the bronze curtains really warmed the whole place up. Lots of wood and house plants helped as well.

This might sound mad, but have you considered orange curtains? We moved into a house and in one room it has a grey carpet. We had to put in some grey furniture in there (haven’t re-painted it yet as generally hate grey). Off white walls and we have a lot of paintings with various colours.

Anyway we had some old orange material that we had to put up as make shift curtains before we could sort out proper curtains. They looked so good, we ended up getting permanent orange curtains. It’s worth thinking about!

Ooo interesting kind of like that idea with the pot plants etc. Did used to have orange curtains with a bit of grey and yellow so will give it a think!

Green is a good neutral

I know you said the pictures have lots of colour but you can just pick one dominant from any of them. So it could be orange, or fuchsia or a green, whatever you like. But I would definitely stick with plain if there are lots of busy pictures.

We have nice, wooden blinds. They work really well and are a neutral.

My go to for this situation would be stripes which are kind of neutral, rather than a busy pattern, then even if you stick to grey stripes it would give some balance to the patterns, but you could always go with more colourful stripes. I think too much plain fabric can look unbalenced.
