Wall paint patterns with tape

Hi,

Are the wall patterns created with tape, as shown in the images, out of trend? I did them in similar styles in our bedrooms when we first moved in 5 years ago and wondering if I should just leave it or change to paneling or something else?

I think they’re so much fun, I’d leave them unless you have some great paneling ideas instead
