Matte Porcelain tiles for kitchen

Hello all, I'm looking to get new flooring in my kitchen /dining room and have been looking at matte Porcelain tiles. Has anyone used them and do they stain?

We have porcelain wood look tiles, they are smooth matte and definitely don’t stain

However a friend had very very matte tiles, they had a powdery finish similar to cut sandstone. Not smooth to the touch iyswim. They didn’t stain (I don’t think porcelain can) but she said the dirt just clung to them and they needed steam cleaning and scrubbing to get properly clean. I think they might have been a non slip finish?

Anyway most matte porcelain tiles will be absolutely fine - just avoid any that are a non slip finish or that seem rough to the touch.
