Kitchen - oven situation

Hi guys!

Hopefully (keeping everything crossed) my family and I are moving to our "forever home" in a few months' time. After having truly dreadful kitchens in our current / previous properties, I am incredibly excited to design, and have fitted, a new kitchen in our new home.

One thing I'm currently battling with is how many ovens to have...

We do a lot of entertaining and I can only see that increasing when we move and, again, over the years as our parents get older.

In our current kitchen, we have a standard under the counter double oven and it's not enough (though we're not actually able to use the two ovens at the same time as it trips the power so I've never had the full experience!).

I had initially thought I'd go for two eye-level ovens, side by side, with warming drawers underneath but now I'm thinking two double eye-level ovens might be better (given the smaller ones would have grills in them) buuut I want slide and hide (Neff) which they don't do in an eye-level double oven, so I'd need to buy them separately. If I'm doing that, would I be better just going for four single ovens?! Or is that overkill? We're trying to future-proof as much as possible.

Any comments or suggestions are very welcome!

I've got 2 stacked neff slide n hides. Lower eye level one only gets used when entertaining so not every day. I do love having both though. Especially at Christmas! Tend to kind the kids decide when I'm making dinner, that's the perfect time they want to makes cakes/brownies so they use one and I use the other.

I wouldn’t have 2 doubles. The Neff ones are tiny. I’d have 2 Neff singles. They have grills in them. I’m assuming you’re aware you’ll need to update your electrics. Just had the electrician visit re installing two singles in our new kitchen and he said even though the spec says they can just plug in they will potentially trip if used at the same time. We have a very banks fuse box. Our only hardwire is going to be used with the new induction. If money and space is no object I’d have a warming drawer and Combi oven too.

Currently have a neff hide and slide and a combination oven/microwave.

I've had bosch series 8 previously and wish I'd gone for that this time (new build). The neff build up an awful lot of steam which releases when you open the door.

My son has two bisch ovens, side by side, a microwave and coffee machine above.

I'd love a warming drawer.

I have two Miele single ovens, one on top of the other. I love having both and it makes it easier at Christmas or when having lots of people round.
