Tongue &groove in cloakroom, anybody use it as a splashback?

Is just about ok round a bath if you make sure it is regularly painted but will get too wet near a sink or shower.

I have in my bathroom; painted with F&B Modern Eggshell so a bit more water resistant than emulsion, but I am very careful of water splashes.
