High back reading armchair recommendations

I‘m looking for recommendations for a comfy armchair, mainly for reading. I’m thinking a high wingback chair rather than a squishy lounging-type one. I mentioned this to my son & he said it sounds like the chairs they have in care homes! I was hoping more for stylish and modern! Any suggestions? I’m in London, so any shops here would be great.
