Just finished decorating, new paint & carpet. Now the rads look yellow. Shall I paint them?

Anyone done this?

Suggestions welcome PigletJohn 😉

I always paint the radiators when I decorate, I use actual radiator paint. It goes on quite easy, usually needs 2 coats.

Yes, we painted ours with the same paint as the wall. Just make sure they are cold when you do it. We actually used the same emulsion, I know someone will say you shouldn't, but we just don't care! They look fine.

(We also run about the house with scissors at every opportunity.)

Just painted mine today.

Almost always use the exact same colour as the wall.

Alot of mine are painted, I tend to use a furniture paint, I go black or antracite as that matches my decor

If you use rad paint, which one?

I always used Wilko radiator paint. I think you can still buy it online, but I haven’t bought it since the shops went because I haven’t needed it. It lasts really well.

I've painted a couple of radiators. Most brands have a paint type that is suitable for radiators so you can match the walls exactly. It looks very smart. Although a few years in the Little Greene paint still matches the walls but the Farrow and Ball doesn't so I'm going to have to repaint that. So make of that what you will.
