Paint for uneven walls

I think ideally the room needs replastering/skimming but I can't face stripping the walls back. Currently decorated with wallpaper that I put up myself a few years ago so not a perfect job in places. Any advise/tips for paint that might be worth a try, that may disguise lumps, bumps and wallpaper joins before I finally resign myself to finding a plasterer?

We have uneven walls in the kitchen. It needs replastering but there is no point until we are ready to also buy a new kitchen.

Flat matt paint worked well to hide it. I was warned some aren’t very durable for busy areas, so we went with Dulux Trade Durable Flat Matt.

I'd recommend this. I found out the hard way to no matter what paint, finish or texture you use, it'll look bad if the wall is uneven so trying to get as smooth as possible base is ideal, unfortunately replastering wasn't an option for us.

I'd recommend two coats of it for best results depending on how uneven your walls are.

Unfortunately one of my kids has drawn on the wall so I once again need to repaint.

Thank you! My walls are about that uneven so that photo is very useful and encouraging. Great job. Thank you.
