Hello, I’m looking for suggestions of non-IKEA children wardrobe. We had IKEA and quality after few years of use is really not good so looking for something more solid.

I got a gorgeous solid wood one from our local age UK charity furniture shop.
Total bargain and looks stunning.
But hit and miss what you find in charity furniture shops but the bigger ones have a constantly changing selection, so I'd keep my eye on it until a winner came up.

Second this! For DD’s room we got a beautiful vintage pine wardrobe from Facebook Marketplace for £100 – bun feet, ceramic handles, brass escutcheons and keys. We just added a lower rail for her inside – very easy to do and now it has double storage; can just remove the lower rail when she’s tall enough to use the upper one.

Now looking for something similar for DS’s room but his chimney breast alcoves are smaller at 90cm so it’s proving tricky!

The Cotswold company.
I bought bedroom furniture seven years ago and every piece looks like new.

I only found out recently though that everything is made in China, not the Cotswolds.
