Where to find this bookcase

I need a lowish cost bookcase but the specific dimensions I’m looking for are making the search challenging.

It needs to be 60cm wide, about a metre tall, adjustable shelves and dark wood colour (mahogany, teak). It’s to go at the back of my desk in an otherwise nicely furnished home office. So doesn’t need to be fantastic quality but not glaringly clashing either.

i was looking at IKEA Billy as my first thought but they are either 80cm or 40cm wide and I need 60cm. Any ikea models that are 60cm wide are available in white only.

Happy to spend up from £20 to around £150 and very grateful for any recommendations.

thank you. I should have said, I’m looking for an open front bookcase. It’s quite a tight corner so no space to be opening doors.

They have a colour called "rustic brown" which is fairly dark. Might be too "rustic" though!

Can't you just leave the doors off?

Thank you. The size is perfect but the colour probably is too rustic. The room is very traditional, leather topped desk etc.

I could, but it will have spaces in it prepared for the hinges and I’d rather have a basic open fronted bookcase. It’s also quite shallow (20cm) and I was hoping for a more standard 30cm.

Besta hinges screw into the shelf support holes, so no different to any adjustable shelf bookcase?

Look at Roseland ( solid oak) or at pine shops ( eBay has a few).

Etsy is pretty good for custom sizes. The trend at the moment is for rustic wood but you could ask for a more even dark stain.

Ah yes, a moment of silence for the discontinued 60 cm Billy. A superior size, esp since the material in the Billy shelves IME can’t handle the weight of actual books when 80 cm wide. No suggestions, just wanted to complain.

Thanks all. Some good ideas to work on.
