I made a mistake and bought quite cheap lvt flooring ; it looked nice at first but after 5 years it is falling apart. I need recommendations for a nice looking, warm floor for a 30s house which will last as well as being practical and good looking.

PVC is a great! We have a 30s house and chose wood luck in herringbone, delighted with it. Has maybe 2 bumps and scratches from a couple of years of heavy wear and tear (construction, moving and a wedding at home included!!) but nothing at all noticeable and overall it is extremely durable.
