Are sofology sofas that bad?!

We spent 3 hours sofa shopping today and I’m still undecided!

I liked the Arlo sofa, cricket sofa, Keswick sofa and Adler sofa from sofology. They were very comfy in store and the salesman wasn’t at all pushy. The trustpilot reviews are great but the review.io reviews are absolutely horrendous!

I’m wondering if anyone has bought a sofa from sofology within the last few years and can tell me if the sofas are still comfortable or whether they look worn, tired and are now uncomfy after use?

I also liked the Zinc sofa in dfs and liked one or two in SCS and Oak furniture land.

Any recent stories of any of the above would be much appreciated!

My sofology sofa is about 8 years old now. It does look worn but to have survived 8 years of children/teenagers, dogs and cats and sleepovers, I think it's done pretty well.

Our current Sofology sofa is just over 3 years old and still the comfiest sofa I’ve ever sat on!

Ours is shite. I can't remember what model it is but the recliner function broke and the leather is peeling off where our feet sit on the recliner bit when it's up. My old cheapy IKEA sofa was more hard-wearing.

OP did you buy from Sofology in the end? I'm also looking at the Adler range.

I ordered from sofology, delivery date kept getting pushed and pushed. Finally it was day of delivery and no sofas. Had to call them, days of going around in circles and then they said they'd lost my sofas and had no idea where they were :/ was so annoying. Ordered sofas from snug which arrived super quickly and luckily they were having a closing down sale so got them at a very good price.

I think ours is 7 years old and has been a trampoline for kids and I’d say is still in pretty good nick. Fabric getting a few tears now (fair enough with how it’s treated) but frame and foam all still good. I’d buy another from there

We have 2 sofology sofas - Cricket in the snug and one squishy corner one in reception room. Both are only 2 years old but are SO comfortable (in different ways - Cricket is firm and supportive, corner one is soft and snuggly) I love them both - we have an 8 year old and 3 year old and they jump on them, use the cushions for forts, eat food on/near them (😭) but they wipe clean with a baby wipe and seem to be holding up well against the heavy use. I would buy again in a heartbeat.

Delivery team were decent, polite and on time and offered floor protectors for the feet too (I had purchased separate ones - they offered better quality ones). I think delivery gets outsourced (they were working for multiple sofa companies) and it depends on the local logistics company used.

I tend to go to DFS but we opted for Sofology this time. Staff and customer service great, gorgeous sofa no problems with it.
