What kind of flooring for a playroom?

Would laminate work, a hard wearing carpet or something else?

Ideally I'd want to not be fussy about spilt paint or pen and something easily vaccumed/mopped.

Can you get nice linoleum or did that go out in the 70s?

If anyone has any experience and recommendations of playroom flooring for two messy tornados I'd really appreciate it!

Thanks 😊

Years ago we had carpet tiles in the playroom in a nice blue. We bought extra - useful during the Ribena incident. Just swapped them for clean ones. Industrial quality!

We have Karndean LVT flooring with a huge playmat from Totter and Tumble - it was expensive but it is lovely and thick and really hard wearing, and easy to clean. Would definitely recommend!

I’d go wipable LVT rather than carpet!
