I really like this quilt - I'm looking for something with a little bit of red in it like this.

Have you seen it or anything like it? I'm become a bit fixated on recreating this look.... thanks!

That's a handmade patchwork quilt. You could try eBay for a secondhand one. A new one will be hundreds or thousands of pounds because of the materials and amount of work that go into making them. I would think £800 at least. They take literally weeks/months to make. Even if you make your own it will be £200-£300 just for the materials.

You might be able to find someone who would make a copy for you on the crafting board if you can afford it? It would be nice to think that money is circulating in a Mumsnet economy.

As @Geneticsbunny says, that looks like a bespoke quilt and would be very expensive.
John lewis has this in similar shades but different pattern.

There are usually handmade ones on Facebook marketplace for a reasonable cost

You might get lucky with secondhand handmade (still won't be cheap but would be cheaper than new handmade). Or research English Paper Piecing and have fun - it's addictive! And in 5-10 years you could have a quilt of your own (if your speed of work is anything like mine) 🤣

I know it's not patchwork but there are a lot of sellers on Etsy from India who do pretty block print quilts that look similar, and the cotton is beautiful! Like this one maybe? https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/1831667974/?ref=shareiossnativecontrol

It's quite old in retail terms - at least from 2019 because of the blog post linked below, so unlikely to be in shops still, and as people have said, it's fairly American, so it's possible she bought it there in the first place. She talks a lot about prowling around antique shops, markets and TK Maxx in this blog post - https://www.tat-london.co.uk/post/knock-knock-with-emma-abrahams

The style is very Williams Sonoma or possibly Pottery Barn, so check there - maybe on Ebay in the US, as it's a few years old, but Williams Sonoma has a similar quilt in stock at the moment, although you will need a VPN to view the page on their site - https://www.google.com/search?q=%22williams+sonoma%22+josh+young+quilt but it is SEVEN HUNDRED DOLLARS !!!! in a king size.

So cheaper to buy a sewing machine and learn to make it yourself, I think - could be your Spring project!
