New conservatory build

Hello everyone,

new here on mumsnet. We are looking at getting a conservatory 3.2m by 3m installed ideally with a solid roof to retain the heat in Winter. Can someone let me know ideally the costs for this. I am in greater London. It will most probably be one with a full height wall and the rest glazed windows. Thank you

I was quoted £50k for a new conservatory with similar specs recently. Needless to say, I am not getting a new conservatory.

We are in the midlands but we've just had one quote back for a similar size & spec to what you are describing. We have the existing base but would add warm roof, new glass/frames - plus 2 x velux roof lights and sliding doors, plastered finish with spotlights.
Our first quote was £27k. Just waiting on our second which I expect to be nearer £35k.
Both local companies.
We'd need to add flooring and heating to those quotes so I'd say upwards of £35k for us.
