New build redecoration - sunny south facing room

Can anyone advise or link to inspiration please.

All the new build ideas appear to be for dark north facing rooms. There's lots of ways to add character there, lots of moody walls and natural textures.

I have a lovely sunny south facing living room but I really need to redecorate. It's currently got each wall painted a slightly different shade of off white/ cream which jars with my dark brown leather sofas. The sofas were an amazing freebie in good nick they're not going anywhere but the room desperately needs a new " feel". Any help?

I can only find dark blue or grey to add character to new builds.

Nothing "sunny" or how to tone down the brown sofas.

How about a Mediterranean pink like this? If you look at the coordinating colours they include a brown that sounds like it could be similar to your sofas. You can use the related colours within the room.
