Best pocket door kit for easy installation?

Hi all,

I am looking to install a pocket door kit in my home and looking for recommendations on the best ones available? I have heard mixed opinions, but the most important for me is: easy installation, good quality, smooth and quiet operation, and obviously budget friendly.

Has anyone had good experience with a particular brand or model?

Hi Lila,
When installing my door, I chose Johnson Hardware. The kit was a good price, but the real money saver was doing the work myself!
I followed the step-by-step guide in this video:
It was incredibly helpful and made the process a lot easier. The video explained how to install the frame, track system, etc. It all worked out in the end :)
The savings allowed me to upgrade to a higher-quality door than I had originally planned!
If you don't mind a little DIY and have the tools, I recommend this route. It's a bit of work, but the savings and sense of accomplishment are worth it!
