Bedroom, pale pink wall behind. Im thinking cream Bouclé over the black but wonder a) will you see the black thru and b) how easy is it? I’ve searched and can’t find the same size lampshade else I’d buy new ones.

Would you Recover these lampshades?

I reckon the black will show through. You’d need to take the black off I think and try to recover the frame. Not sure how easy a job that is.

Etsy has quite a few lampshade makers, you could send pics & measurements to a couple and see if they can make a replacement for you?

Alternatively, would you consider a different shape - it doesn’t have to be exactly the same dimensions- just needs to fit the space between the arm and the wall iyswim.

Ooh I didn’t know Etsy have them, and yes I’d probably prefer a softer shape like rounded but couldn’t work out the measurements so gave up. I’m not great at this can you tell?!

There are plenty of cream rectangular shades out there. Maybe not so popular with the boucle material, but if you want to save the faff, the off the shelf options are readily available. www.universal-lighting.co.uk/products/dar-modena-rectangular-ivory-cotton-wall-light-shade/
