Blinds/curtains for patio sliders?

I need to put some blinds or something over my sliding patio doors to hopefully provide some privacy and maybe look a bit cosier. Does anyone have any smart ideas? There are 3 independently moving doors, total width of 4.5m and not a lot of space to gather curtains at either end.
Thank you

I have full length voiles; they are the same colour as my walls. They are drawn back during the day but always pulled in the evening. As they are a very fine fabric, they don't take up much space at the end of the rails when open.

Thanks @MissFritton65 , I did consider them but do they do much for warmth? Are they on a track or wire?

@Yamyamabroad they are on a track as our doors are over 6m long. They don't provide warmth but privacy when our lights are on.

I had custom made bypass shutters fitted about a year ago. They are on a track and slide past each other like the doors do. I can post a pic if this is something you’d fancy?

Yes please @Cattery , I can't really picture these but they sound interesting

Can you fit a ceiling fix track and stack curtains outside the recess? Or are they wall to wall....

Yamyamabroad · 09/01/2025 20:36

They look nice @Cattery . Yes, they are pretty much wall to wall @rainythursdayontheavenue , that's why I'm not sure what to do.

A ceiling fix track would work (several companies make them that fit into the plaster so they are completely recessed), and something like wave heading stacks back well. You could always bend the track so that the curtains went around the corners. I'll put an image to show, and obviously you don't have to take them this far round.
