Best warm neutral for a hallway and stairs?

Struggling to pick, 1 upstairs window and a half glass front door. Wooden floor which is a bit orangy downstairs and mid colour minky carpet on stairs and upstairs. Stairs run sideways from hall and are enclosed on both sides.

I generally like colour but I think neutral will work best. White would be too stark I think. A lot of doors both downstairs and up which are white.

We have oak laminate throughout downstairs with a caramel latte colour paint on the bottom half of the hallway walls and vanilla white on the top half. Also have a minky colour carpet on the stairs and throughout upstairs.

So I would go with a warm white like vanilla.
