Really struggling to find good garden furniture! I’m searching for an 8 seat dining table (teak or aluminium) and a couch set. Happy to spend a couple thousand so looking for something that will last and is good quality! Any suggestions? We’ve had sets from wayfair etc before but they just don’t last

I have this lounge set from John Lewis which is great:

Are you looking for a separate dining table and lounge set?

With you OP. This is a perpetual hunt for us. Our 20+ year old teak outdoor table and chairs bought in a Homebase Sale is close to needing replacement and we have a holiday home that also needs a good outdoor table. I will be watching this thread with interest.

We have both teak and metal garden furniture.
The teak table, inherited from my FiL is very high maintenance!

We have a round, metal mesh table and chairs, bought from B+Q years ago. The table needs respraying every few years and one of the chair seats' welding broke.
The most robust are two Kettler relaxer chairs, purchased from an Ebay seller. They have been outside for the best part of ten years - no rusting. They are also heavy so don't fall over in high winds.
If I could buy some new garden furniture I would most definitely choose a Kettler metal set. Probably this one...

We bought Leisuregrow garden furniture 15 years ago - have never taken it inside or covered it and it’s still going strong. Worth the money.

Everything we’ve bought since has fallen to bits!

V interesting. Thanks all! Saw a kettler in person at a garden centre and really liked it. Seems we may steer away from teak…
